No it isn’t a tune. Think of it as a way to manually shift the transmission. No experience with one but sounds like most use it to lock out over drive.

Pulled the factory radio out of my f250 to swap with a 6 disc. Works fine, buttons are showing a bit of wear. If anyone can use it, it’s yours, just cover shipping. I robbed the mounting tabs off the sides.

I runs Eric's X race tune with my RCD 68 and 180/75's. The truck runs smoke free once boost is made but sure smokes down low. I've been very happy with this set up.

Power service with a full tank of fuel.
Be sure to top off the batteries as well and disconnect the negatives.
I park my truck this way every year. Reconnect the batteries in the spring with a tender for a day and she fires right up.

Welcome!!!
Most likely the factory wheels will have a clear over them so you'll have to strip that to polish the aluminum.
If wheels are other than factory, go for it.

I wouldn't worry about changing the oil, maybe once you have heat cycled it once or twice. Drain the water from the hfcm. Charge the batteries and crank it over.

And unhook the batteries negative cables. Should fire right up when you get back.
I park mine for 4-5 months every year.

I welded my axle brackets so the bar straddles the inner u bolt for the leaf pack. That seemed to give me the straightest line up the frame. I hung them straight down below the axle. Used a plumb Bob string.
As for the heat, I didn't burn them all at once so the axle tube didn't get too hot...
