The dash pull really isn't that bad. I did one about 5 years ago. Iirc it was the easiest of all the year models

    New truck ac not cold

How does airflow out of the vents feel flow wise?

    Alternator ID

I'd go with the higher amperage. Everything on these trucks is electronic to begin with, not to mention most people have some sort of auxiliary lights, sound system, etc.

    Red vs. Green Fuel

The majority of the excavators and loaders I work on are ran on red, and they usually get over 4,500 hrs out of a d.p.f. before too many issues. Some get quite a bit more, but hoenstly can't see the red dye causing that.

Well long story short the guy bought a new collector with his up pipes, I just didn't see it in the damn box, so don't need one after all. Thank you anyways.

Need late 99 up pipe collector asap

Working on a truck that came from the wonderful salt land, and the up pipe collector cracked upon removal of one of the up pipe bolts. Need a late 99 collector if anyone has one. Also needing an e.b.p.s. tube and fitting that goes into the manifold, as they broke as well.

    No start after motor swap

We have not heard a video of what it actually sounds like/ is doing. We are solely going off of what the o.p. posted. Yes, you can make a diesel "run" feeding ether to it. BUT, this is a H.E.U.I. injection system, and it is very likely there is a bunch of air trapped somewhere. Hell on my...

    99 F-250 electrical issue

On the 6.0, try unplugging the i.c.p. sensor and see if it still occurs.

    No start after motor swap

I doubt seriously it's compression. I'd clean the area around the i.c.p. sensor, then remove it, and top the oil rail off with a small funnel. You can also pull one of the plugs on the passenger side oil rail and do the same. It likely just needs more cranking. I've seen plenty of motors that...

    No start after motor swap

Check to make sure the i.p.r. connector is plugged in.

    Ported heads.

Doesn't head porting already cost a few grand on a powerstroke from anyone reputable? I seem to remember hearing about pricing being in that range a few years back.

Broke off glow plug, remove heads?

1 glowplug will not keep an engine from starting, and not positive if it will even throw an engine light on an obs.

Any Experience w/ 6.7 Aftermarket Exhaust Brakes?

I see. Thinking back, I do remember when my old boss got a 15 model, being surprised to see the exhaust brake. And I'm pretty sure all big 3 diesel pickups have had vgt's for at least the past 12 years

    Free 7.3 block

Does anyone want a free 7.3 block in North Texas (Lewisville)? Needs to be rebuilt. Has been sitting for about 10 years, was pulled due to low compression. 2002 model motor. No injectors, h.p.o.p., plenums, or turbo. Still has a good front cover, exhaust manifolds, cam, crank, and heads. Iirc, I...

Any Experience w/ 6.7 Aftermarket Exhaust Brakes?

Did the 13's not incorporate the vgt for exhaust braking?

Help, 99 e350 7.3 died on highway, cranks no start.

It may be that you just have alot of air in the high pressure oil system and need to crank more. But there are 100 possibilities. You really do need access to a scanner.
