    Mirrors

    From what I've seen, most people fabricate a plate that will hold the mirrors and weld it over where the vent window is located. They'll then fill in the holes left by the old mirrors mounting.

    I've been servicing my 2015 F-550 every 7,500 since new with CAT 10w30 and Donaldson Filters. Scheduled oil samples at every interval show no adverse wear.

    I got mine at VatoZone. Dorman 85814. Been in my truck for 4 years and 60k miles. Uses a 921 bulb. Cut the old reverse light socket out and splice this one in.

    Smoother ride on obs

    I'd do a 05+ SD axle swap for better ride, handling, brakes, turning radius, and all that goes along with it. Should be some threads here on it and some vendors that sell certain parts to facilitate the process.

    CAT used them on the 07 ACERT truck engines and most of the earthmoving/ CCE stuff have them. We generally change them far before the interval says, because they'll get plugged up.

    I assumed it was a 4r100 when he started talking about BTS. I know they're well known for 4r100 builds. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

    Maybe Mark Kovalsky can chime in on the issue. For some reason, I remember my dad having one of those transmissions in his 01 F-350 and it grenaded. I think it was just a few months that had them in the 4r100.

    35" tires on leveling kit

    35x12.50r17 will fit just fine with a leveling kit and stock wheels on a 05 4x4. I had them in a BFG Mud Terrain on my 05. Had no clearance issues.

    6.0 Powerstroke

    I have a late 05 F-250 that I would like to get the SRL, unlimited tow, and 8k tow tunes on a SCT X4. My question is- can you load the tunes into the X4 and ship it to me that way? I don't have a laptop at the moment, as mine is being repaired. Thank you.

    B&W vs Draw Tite

    I have the B&W. I love mine. Easy to install and use. No experience with the Draw-Tite. Hopefully someone else will chime in that has one.

    Heavy Duty Diagnosis Software Question

    I've used the JPro and the Snap-On when we were testing units for our shop and loved them. They ended up buying the Bosch unit and it sucks. The Snap On and JPro were pricey, but covered everything and were user friendly.
