Lift kit / driveshaft length.
I installed a 4" rough country lift. Putting driveshafts in today and rear shaft (at transfer case ) is out 1/2" from stock .... Question, Should I have the shaft lengthened 1/2" Or is there still enough spline left for good contact? I plan to take it out tomorrow and double check...- JohnT24

Oil pan leak at the dipstick fitting.
Yeah I believe I watched a couple of your YouTube videos I thought your valve covers looked pretty trick so I did the same. -

Yeah I read that. I am probably going to just put it back together stock. I do not have an intercooler, so the piping is pretty simple. I've never had a problem with the hoses slipping off ... I also use those Plenum reinforcement rings. Curiosity got the best of me and I fell down the...- JohnT24

I was able to see it on the home PC and yes, It looks identical. I would imagine Racor/Parker made that part for International. Still can't find it for sale anywhere... LOL- JohnT24

Is there any point in this protector?
Mine broke on disassembly And I was fixin to weld it back together But I'm starting to wonder if it's even necessary. I really don't see the point. Thoughts?- JohnT24

That link did not work on my cell phone But yes I did see a similar Racor filter. I don't think it mounts on the valve cover like the international unit. I would imagine you run a hose off the valve cover breather over to the Racor That's actually my second option.- JohnT24

Crawl under the truck to check the oil? Nah… I ended up using a new ford pan and the driven diesel adapter Much better design but $$ -

Thanks again Pat. I’ll bring those numbers tomorrow. BTW The only reason I’m going to international is because there is a dealer in a parts counter right down the street from me where I work. KC turbo included O-rings And they very well may be perfectly fine but, I just feel better getting...- JohnT24

Valve cover/crank case breather
Does the international T444 use the same valve cover breather as the power stroke? I’m stopping tomorrow at the local international dealer for some turbo O-rings. Just wondering if they might have the breather O-rings also. If so, anyone have a part number(s)- JohnT24

Up pipe / turbo install Q:
I’ll remember that thank you. But the plan is to install the engine with the turbo and everything already on. PS Nobody noticed I installed the fly wheel/ clutch/pressure plate without the aluminum spacer for the starter. No big deal, I wanted to put Loctite on the fly wheel bolts anyway.- JohnT24
