    just but what do you recomend setting the boost at with your tm and the new ww on a stock 2000 7.3 turbo? im trying to find a good place to set it so i dont overspeed it and destroy it. right now i have it set up so it holds boost at 30 psi.

    no i mean the problem is if i were to drag race my 6 speed i would probably destroy my syncros trying to get it to shift fast enough to get an accurate trap speed. other wize your loosing about 20 or 30 feet per shift that your not under power not to mentuion the boost lost between shifts.

    mabey so much cyl pressure it just pushed them up while running hard? neevr seen this or heard of it though. Thants wierd. but it does look to me like they were just tourqued down to hard at one time.

    alright guys fired the truck up this morning(it was 16 degrees) it fired up ran realy rough and set the codes off (p1273 and 1274) high to low side open on both. soon as it warmed up the codes went away. I also did a buzz test while it was cold and all 8 injectors buzz good. so its deffinatly...

    what you just described is a pain in the ass! what do you do about keeping the fuel out of the cyl and oil when you pull the injector out? I do pull those 2 oil rail plugs but that doesn't stop all the oil from going in there.

    yeah then you dump oil all down in the cyl, get fuel in the oil and basically make a mess of everything! not to mention getting all that air in the oil rails! you make it sound like its as easy as changing the oil. when in reality in up on a step ladder cussin cause my belly is getting cut up...

    yes all sounded the same crisp and loud. i hear you . If it does turn out to be bad injecotors that sucks cause one on each side! thats just my luck i would put the two bad ones on opposite sides of each other. Ill see if i can get somewhere tomorrow morning. I did recheck all the conections...

    and yes they were it has brand new 15w40 oil delo 400, at the time of the injector swap. witch was 3 days ago. also new fuel filter as well.

    no i did not ohm them. With the AE doing its tests and what not i figured that would catch a bad wire. Besides the fact that right now at this moment there is no problem and no codes so i know the ohm test right now would come back good. Because it is intermitant and has only done it first thing...

    they are unlimited remans. fresh from unlimited i figured if it was an actuall injector issue i would feel it running rough or at least a pitch change in the engine noise when the light is coming on but im not. Its still running smooth as glass when it does it.
