Mishimoto rad. Differances
IIRC, there are two different size lower hoses on 03-07 truck, I think F250 had a smaller outlet for the bottom hose vs F350-F550 -

Watch the end of the video posted in the first post, at the end he explains how the nose cones have to be changed. I'll never buy another 7.3 starter again. -

So it takes a nose cone swap to make a 6.7 starter work on a 7.3??? I was going to put a 6.4 on a 7.3, bought the starter and there was no way the 6.4 nose would bolt up to the 7.3. I've been using 6.4 starters in 6.0's and that's a nice upgrade, at the local parts store the 6.0 starter and... -

7.3 swap PCM question
A few things to be cautious of, 99 Truck were either split shot injectors on the late production and single shot on the early, tuning is different. IIRC Excursions had solid state glow plug module and SD's still had the solenoid so the harnesses will be different.- Gary

Are delphi injectors any good?
If they aren't Motorcraft I do not use them. -
04 6.0 starts, runs for 10 seconds, then shuts off.
Sound like a loose injector, compression is leaking past the copper washer and aerating the fuel. -

03 dying problems before 4,000 mile round trip
If FICM voltage is good, egr clean the I'd look at the ICP sensor. -
Power Steering Leak
When the sector shaft seal leaks usually that means the shaft is rusty and tore up the seal. I haven't done any of the newer steering gears but on the older trucks I always replace the sector shaft along with the seals. If you want to try and replace the seal you don't use a press on this job... -
ALL 6.0 mechanics have a look
It's hard to tell in those pictures how big the metal pieces are, so I'm thinking roller needles from a failed lifter?? I don't think that metal caused the oil cooler to fail, it just ended up there. I'd look at the cam and roller lifters and oil pump, that metal came from somewhere. In my... -
need options on short block!
How are you doing the leakage test? What numbers are you getting? Try tapping the valve stems with a soft hammer while doing the test. Also have the piston on TDC. -
05 injectors in an 03
They will work, I've done it before. But they are a different part number. So IDK know what the difference is, maybe somebody who knows will chime in. -
Cracked Nozzle
The cracked nozzles I have seen were related to a low fuel pressure issue, there is a TSB about cracked nozzles and low fuel pressure. -
Blown Turbo??
If you had oil coming out the exhaust it probably dumped oil to the inter-cooler also, I'd pull it and make sure there isn't any oil in it before you start the engine back up. The oil in the inner-cooler will cause a run away engine. -
03 6.0 no power, help!
I had one that didn't make any boost, after checking MAP and EBP this I found when I cut the convertor open. -
2000 7.3 No start - some diagnostics done
Unplug the ICP sensor and see if it starts, if you see oil in the connector replace it. If your reading ICP then you must have a scanner, see if you have a tach reading on the scanner. Make sure the connector is on the IPR is good, tight, then make sure tin nut is tight. -

How many miles after flush before new cooler?
I found a MSDS sheet for Restore on Fleetguards site but for some reasonI couldn't blow it up large enough to read it. It looks like Cummins make it, so I'd say any chemicals from a OE are probably about the best you can get. The $5 flush products at the big chain stores is basically worthless.
