    can't get power to the compressor Ok, you have 12 volts out of the high pressure switch, from there it then goes to the A/C clutch, if you don't have any power at the clutch then that wire is open somewhere. Try powering up the clutch with a test lead and see if the clutch will engage.

    When you unplugged the EBP sensor the PCM will substitute a default setting. So if that made a improvement in the way it runs then it sounds like a EBP sensor problem. I have seen this before just like you described. Do you have a scanner that will read EBP voltage, if so check what you have...

    It will make about 50-70 more HP, then when you rev it that will make it "clack" on the way down. I did this once, won't do it again, there are better ways to improve your injectors.

    See if it's lock on #7, if not them pull the glow plugs and roll the engine over BY HAND, and see which cylinder it is. Then go from there.

    The trailer connector is the #1 area to have that problem, if that's not it I'd start looking around the rear bumper area, but your problem could be anywhere.

    Check to make sure you connected the ground wire behind the kick panel by the E-brake, been there before.

    :whs: Most of the aftermarket electrical add-on stuff is installed by some kid or somebody who doesn't know what they are doing. I have seen some really poor wiring jobs over the years, and I've had to fix them.

    I don't think SD's had factory anti theft till 2008, Excursions did tho. Most of those aftermarket alarms absolute garbage, sooner or later they are gonna give you problems.

    Go over all the wiring and look for something that wasn't connected back up.

    Those connectors on the valve cover gaskets look burnt, I'd fix those and then see how it runs. The bouncy speedo needle means the speedometer is probably gonna need replaced, if that isn't effecting the way the transmission shifts yet, is will.

    I would now try to clear the codes and then see what comes back, then work on those codes first. For your speedo problem check the wires coming off the VSS to the frame and look for any breaks or damage, that's a common area for problem.

    I'm with those guys^^ If it's not the U-joints then on a 06 the caster spec is 2.6* + or - 1.2*, I'd say with the lift you probably lost some caster, then the tires don't help either. A lot of the older trucks had 5 1/2* of caster, you may need to increase your caster to help the steering wheel...

    Just because there is no CEL doesn't mean there are no codes, scan it and see what codes you have and see what you have for rail pressure.

    The VC9 is the best flush chemical. I pulled the MSDS sheets for it and some other brands, then showed them to a M.I.T. Phd and he told me the VC9 was the only product to use, the rest were basically snake oil. So if the VC9 doesn't do it, nothing will except a rebuild.
