    cps 10mm bracket bolt

The problem with fixing it is that you need the correct tools to get into it to drill it out and repair the threads. Very few mechanics have a right angle drill in their tool box. You could possibly go up one size of bolt and retap the hole for the new threads but that could be a problem also.

Transmission revving high but hardly moving, only shifting gears manually

Might as well start pulling it out of the truck. If you talked to the rebuilder and he didn't come up with a quick fix he'll need to tear it apart to fix it.

    Zf5 issue

I think that I would either try and find someone to rebuild the one that I had or see if I could find one that has been rebuilt and carries a warranty. If you found one in a junk yard they might offer a very short one if any at all. When my tail housing was cracked and fluid was leaking I...

    Zf5 issue

No idea other than moving the drive shaft and not the wheels while someone is trying to shift it out of gear. My question is how did it get into 3rd gear with no one in the truck? At any rate you may be in for a rebuild or used transmission.

Check engine light at start.. only .. help

If the tube is clogged up you can remove it and spend some time running a wire through it along with some carb or brake cleaner to clean it out. If the sensor is bad then you just need to replace it.

You need a code reader that will read Fords codes. 99% of the code readers out there will not read them. Check out this thread. http://powerstrokearmy.com/forums/showthread.php?t=74531&highlight=torque+pro And or do a search for Torque App for OBS Android.

    Which 6637 filter

If you want a better filter than the 6637 google up Donaldson B085011. The Donaldson was what was first used as a open air filter on these trucks and is a better filter than the NAPA 6637 and if you look around you can find it cheaper.

    dually conversion questions

I agree it is a argument that neither one of us will win and it will go on forever. I am just talking what your insurer will do and not the DOT. Insurers will look at any reason to get of of paying a claim and running a F250 overloaded will be one of the first things that they look at.

    dually conversion questions

You really need to talk to your insurance carrier about that. It doesn't matter what you register a vehicle for as far as weight is concerned, the factory capacity is the capacity that you need to go by as far as laws are concerned. And if you get into a wreck carrying over the factory...

    dually conversion questions

I would start looking for a F350 with the dual wheels. No matter what you do to that F250 it will always be a F250 and if something should happen after you convert it over to a dual wheel truck while towing the 5th wheel it will be on you. Odds are your insurance company will deny the claims...

    Anybody out there?

Why not just get a actual EGT gauge? I am presuming here that you installed a probe into the exhaust manifold for the Edge.

There is also a flange on the head, without it you need to use a washer.

Much help needed on Finding Transfer case bolts!

Just go down to the hardware store and pick up some grade 8 bolts. You might have to try a few different ones before you find the right size and pitch but they will have something that will work. They should be metric.

    Battery light

I have heard of instances where it does but I haven't seen it. Basically it gets it power through the key switch and it's ground from the alternators stator winding. Once the alternator starts charging the ground will go away and turn out the light.

    Battery light

Then I would say that there is a wiring problem between the light and the plug on the alternator or it is the alternator. The exciter voltage for the alternator goes through that light. If you pull the battery light out the alternator will not charge the battery. Have you don't any wiring...

    Battery light

Have you tested the output of the alternator at idle with everything off and then with things turned on. I'm betting that the alternator is putting out too much voltage.

6 out of 8 NEW Motorcraft GPs DEAD!

I am sure that you checked it but make sure that you have a glow plug relay and not a starter relay installed, if you replaced it. There for a while Advance Auto was selling the starter relay and saying that it was for the glow plugs.

6 out of 8 NEW Motorcraft GPs DEAD!

Did you test the glow plugs themselves or through the valve cover harness? If just through the harness I would pull the valve cover and test them with the wires disconnected.
