    Heui Injection

🤦🏼‍♂️ I still come across a few of those once in a blue moon. Unfortunately there were so many gullible people that bought those heaping piles.

    Mechanically Injected 7.3 Trucks Info/Pictures

First place was way out front at 413ft, but as I mentioned he was spraying nitrous and had triple chargers in a well over 2000hp truck. 2nd through 5th was 10ft. Ya, I'm well aware that 2.6 charger is too small, but the guys can be at a lot more local pulls and not have to travel all over the...

    Mechanically Injected 7.3 Trucks Info/Pictures

Here you go. 5th place out of 22 in open class. The truck is running in 2.6 class normally with no injectables. Truck in first ran NOS and compound chargers.

    Yes, stock housing.

    Heui Injection

Correct, theoretical, but probably very easy to do, and already have been done in the 6.0 world. My flow benches are significantly better and nicer than the old style HI2000 that uses a cylinder head and just pushes fuel through the system. Mine have more sensors and have more useful data to...

I'll try to order in some in on my next order of injector parts order.

    Heui Injection

I haven't calculated the exact numbers yet. Fortunately I now have Solidworks 3D modeling and have the flow simulator add-on for it. I think we can get 750cc of fuel with rather low cost (relatively speaking) compared to what Jason did on basically building a completely new set of "one-off"...

    Heui Injection

The 7.3 heads actually can flow a ton of air. It's the injection system is what holds power back. I've got a few things in the works for larger 7.3 injectors, and it should be much more affordable, and a bit faster to market than what Charles is talking about.

    Stainless steel injector cups

I've used the OTC, RR, and Rosewood cup tools. I like the Rosewood tool the best mainly because I can get them pulled and installed much faster vs the other two. Like Nick said, drop a dime, squirt of grease on the flutes of the tap, or a piece of a shop towel in the bottom of the cup to keep...

    Stainless steel injector cups

Here's a YouTube video from Irontite for one of these tools. We have nearly all variations because we do so many different engines. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk

    Stainless steel injector cups

Nearly all diesels use stainless cups (including the 6.0)....BUT you need to use special tooling to "roll them in" as we engine builders/engine machinists call it on the larger cups like a 7.3. Most people are not going to buy the $2000 in proper tooling from Irontite to do it, so hence why I...

    Stainless steel injector cups

Absolute hard pass on stainless cups for a 7.3 if you don't have the proper tools to roll them in. We've been building and machining diesel engines from little Lombardini's to the big off- road CAT's. Ignorance is bliss when people think it's a good idea because one shop says so, even though...

    Latest mods for 23x/100s

If you end up not having time to build the dual stock fuel pumps, the AirDog 5G is a nice pump. They updated the poppet style regulator to a diaphragm style. I've had the 4G on my shop truck for 5yrs with 238/100's and it's done very well. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk

So how are you all liking the new forum software?

So far I'm liking it. Like anything new, it takes time to figure things out and get used to it. Just like our new CNC milling center compared to running an old manual mill for years.
