I pulled it all out and checked manifold also. Sat at the kitchen table for about ten minutes gently cleaning the sensor. Im curious how it reads. If it's resistance or if it is a switch. I hate to throw an $85 dollar dart for nothing. I don't have scanner access.

Looking at the wiring schematic I may be able to hook it to a nitro tank and check resistance ranges. I also may try to track it down in a harness.

Looking at it and talking to coworkers... We are thinking if you feed 5v in land your ground, then you should be able to watch your signal voltage vary linear with the pressure. Might try tonight or tomorrow to set it up on the bench. I just don't want to buy one until I know it is failed.

Shouldn't be that bad... Problem is automotive stuff never has specs on it so I have to guess on it. If it works out like I want, it will hopefully be real simple. I'll try to get on it and keep you updated.

its a pressure transducer if ya have a junk one break the top off of it and you will see the resistors and electrical circuitry, but don't throw the connector away, instead get an icp/ebp sensor pigtail extend the wires about 2 feet and solder the old connector to the wires, this makes a great jumper harness for hpop testing

ebp signal voltage should be around .80v-.95v koeo and at idle

I'm all ears. Im probably wrong just trying to sort stuff out on my own.

This is what I was looking at. I was thinking it was using a 5vdc signal.

5vdc Vref supplied from pcm, signal return is a fancy name for pcm internal gound, and signal is the output from the sensor back to the pcm 0v with the key off .8v-.95v at atmospheric pressure(koeo) and up to 4.5v at full load anything over 4.5v will set a mil light and a backpressure dtc, the main point of this sensor is to calculate engine load

note: all 3 wire sensors on the motor are supplied with the same 5v vref, and signal return and have independant signal wires

Ahh that's the ticket... New coil with no difference of voltage when the key rolls foreword. Truck starts great! Here is a tip when you go to parts store and they tell you the price tell them your butt hurts and you need to sit down. Got me ten dollars off!

As a side note... What is the pump that rattles and vibrates when the key rolls foreword. It was behind the blower motor on the passenger fender. My wide was all curious about it hahaha.

@ psn there is an alternate part # and it about half the price. The only difference is the item is rotated 90* so the lay out of a + turns into a x.

Find the stancor HD update. I used to eat factory GPR, i went through 3 in 4 years. Swapped to a HD stancor and had no more issues.

Also for the OP, running syn in the winter will help w/ cold starts.
