Fox 2.0 is what I have and can't see needing any bigger. I did upgrade to the 2.0 with remote reservoirs up front just for looks basically. They do look good and ride good tho.

Well trucks been on the road for a few weeks now, took it straight to the alginment shop and didn't need one at all. Drove around for 10 days with 285/75/18 no lift and doesn't rub turning or in the bumps. Added 2.5" spacer and fox 2.0 shocks and the truck drives good but not as good before the spacer???? Love the turning radius as it by itself makes the swap worth it. Brakes are bigger but hard to tell how much increase there is some but marginal. Ride is better than leaf spring by far, all in all well worth the time and money updating my older truck.

Frame cut with axle $500
New ball joints $225
New axle seals and vacuum seals $125
New axle joints $97
Paint $12
Brake pads $27
Grade 8 bolts $35
18" wheels $200
Tires used $100
Fox shocks 236
Total around $1550 for the front swap and wheels/tires

Sold my stuff
Tires/wheels $800
Front axle and all brackets $300

Out of pocket $450 and sometime in the shop and my axle is rebuilt and drives better than it ever has in the 6.5 years I've owned it.

reason it drives worse after the spacer is because the caster is off. install radius arm drop mounts and you will be much happier.

As to ride worse it seems to be softer imo after the shock and spacer change. Still rides great compared to what I had but not as good as no spacer and junk yard shocks

I'm planning on doing this swap soon but didn't realize my wheels wouldn't swap? Curios if adding spacers would give it enough clearance from the brakes. I just bought new tires less than a tank full of fuel ago lol

You will have to upgrade to a 17" wheel. The axles are wider and use a different offset wheel to make the tires sit under the fender. Best of luck and if you have any questions feel free to post here or pm.
