Ok good to know. I have the same kit. what banjo bolts did you use? Did the kit come with them or did you reuse the ones from the front? I bought my kit used so this is why i'm asking. Thanks again.

Not sure, the kit was on it when I bought the Excursion. If I ever get my intake manifold, I'll take a look and see whats back there. Depending on what is back there, I might upgrade to some of those highflow banjos.

Hey hawgdoctor, send me a price on some of those banjos.

Little update, was in the big city and got a phone call that I had a package waiting at home. Believing this was the part I had been waiting on, I went ahead and stopped by ford and picked up some 6.4 banjos and washers. Got home ready to start the install, turns out I received ANOTHER turbo. LOL Oops.

LOL I wish. I was actually just waiting on a little part so I can start the install. Turns out there was some communication errors and I received another turbo directly from bill. Rut row. Called Bill and we got it all taken care of. Sadly it has to go back. LOL good news is that the part is supposed to be here this AM.

Not sure if I missed it somewhere but did u drill out the one way checks in the stock banjo bolts? Seems like if not then there would be ur problem.

my banjos are actually in the rear of the heads on the return side..the check valve was removed but not drilled. Good news, got all my parts and about to start the tear down.

I might have to come by and check this out! How's the trans holding up

Come on by! and not so well. its been slipping in OD and not shifting right for over a year. Just recently it has started slipping all the time. Seems like the only time it shifts correctly is at the track... so thats where she will go to test out the new setup. When it goes BOOM, ive got a spare. LOL

Well, put in the 6.4 banjos and still burying the gauge at over 100psi. Hooked up a new stewertson 100 psi gauge to verify. really thought that was going to do it. Back to the drawing board.

Think I found the problem! One of the lines off the rear of the heads is completely blocked. Guess I'll go get some lines made Monday.

Edit: confirmed. Pressure difference is down to 20 psi. might just replace all the lines.
