I ran a ******* Tuner (DashDaq) for years and was very happy with the device and somewhat happy with the tuning. However, I grew tired of being told: We have a fix for your problem in the soon to be released update, then having to wait months & months for the update.

I'll never chase another carrot that ******* hangs in front of my nose.

The SCT-X4 and PIP tunes are working just fine on my 2015!

And why is S-P-A-R-T-A-N the only name being ********????

Yes I would say it has alot to do with big brother as you put it. I would say all of the tuners names should be marked out on here as it isn't making anything better for them either. The very people whose tune you are using for example is in a thing with "Big brother" right now and can't provide any updates either just to cover themselves. Going on here and throwing their names around just makes things worse for them. Now I can't comment on anything else that you said as I'm new to the powerstrokes. I did read about not getting any updates from them for years tho.

Serious about which part of my rant?

I'm serious that it's been this Tuning Company's MO for years to put the "Cart Before the Horse".

I had a problem with one of their tunes slamming the transmission on one of my 2008s. They told me they were working on an update, which would be available the following week to correct the problem. In the meantime, they came on the Forum and asked what all of us would like to see get incorporated into the update. That was a recipe for disaster! Instead of the update being release the next week, it continued to evolve as customers asked for various features to be included in the update. Talk about trying to hit a moving target! Next week turned into weeks, then months.

Don't get me started on the "2013 tuning coming soon". The 2016s are here and they still can't tune a 2013. Well, maybe they can tune a 2013, but they haven't been able to offer anything to the General Public.

Why come on a Public Forum and get folks lathered-up about new tuning options & devices when in reality, the proverbial Wagon they're selling from is empty? They're waiting on devices? Give me a break. sounds like piss-poor planning to me.

I ain't going to believe it 'til I see it.

From the sounds of it, you're not going to be a paying customer, so why do you even care?

I have two on order. I was quoted end of the month for shipping. Sounded to me like there were a few more tweaks they were doing before they shipped them out. I'm in no hurry so it doesn't really matter to me. As long as the tuning is worth the wait ill be a happy person.

I won't be a paying customer but I do care.

I care about the other guys who've plopped down their hard earned cash based on the claims that: the tuners will be in Beta in mid-August (still haven't heard from any Beta a Testers), the units would start shipping Sept. 1 (didn't happen), final updates would be completed in the next week (that was 2 weeks ago) and their last post saying they're waiting on Devices.

Bottom Line: Don't hold your breath on any timeframe that ******* publishes.

I'll keep further comments to myself, since I don't have a dog in this fight.

That would have been great a few posts ago. or before you felt the need to post the same thing on this post and their own thread.

They are offering something that no one else has available or plans to make so I have no problem waiting a few extra weeks to get it. I have been dealing with them for over 6 years now. Other then some communication issues in the first year they have done good by me.

I think if you read back in this post there are more then a few things that were brought to their attention that people either wanted or had concerns about. SOTF, engine brake working correct, ect just off the top of my head. Takes time to go back and check on those things. You know what beta testers are for? To find issues. Maybe they did and needed to correct a few things.

I agree their product has a track record of being quality. I am willing to wait for that quality as well. However, the lack of communication is quite frustrating. I'd rather them tell us there were some set backs pushing the release date back to an estimated xxxx rather than radio silence. I have ants in my pants waiting so long with my "instant gratification" gene built into my DNA. I want it and I want it now! I have wet dreams about my truck tuned.

if you want questions answered quick. Make a quick phone call. They always answer. Comments on all forums have gone dead for the most part. I am sure they have good reason for it

I have delt with them since 07 on my 08 6.4. Then my 11 6.7. Always been good, and have had no issues ever getting any update wether for rough shifting or updated engine files etc. All that was required was a nice polite phone call...
