I'm hoping once the 15 tuning is refined, that too can be tweaked for the 11-14 trucks with the 15 kits. I bumped the defuel to 38 on the boost and I'll see if I hit that tomorrow. With the stocker, it felt like it was out of air around 30-32, this turbo keeps on pulling.

Here is what was sent to me from the first one out there besides mine.

Forwarded from a customer of one of my dealers:

"Text Morgan and tell him I love him. I drove the truck all morning and this setup is kickass. Sounds amazing still spools quickly. And it hauls"

I also did some towing today with my '15. Grossed around 20k total. Towed very well and having the turbine brake is just flat awesome when combined with the power and shifting capabilities of this truck. This is by far the ultimate "dpf on" experience lol!

Maybe I missed it, but will the 15 turbo on the 11-14 make the "integrated" exhaust braking better? Would be nice if it worked like the 15's, or if someone could get the new brake button to work with a tune.

I agree with BigNasty, I dont know that portion has been talked about a lot. Does the factory strategy for the 11-14 trucks with a 15 turbo work decently as is? There is some exhaust "braking" with our stock 11-14 turbos, just wonder how that same strategy works with the 15 turbo in place.

They basically work the same. No real difference. I'm sure if you had a vane controller you could close it manually.

Colecoop, what kind of boost are you seeing with that setup, and what tune? I'm thinking of doing the same turbo on my truck, I am only seeing 24psi with my stock turbo.

Without changing tunes (and I have the 61mm street max) I'm seeing 31 max. Once I can get it retuned I feel confident 35-36 psi is a safe bet

Tuning limits these things to about 30 psi. That can be bypassed by custom tuning or a boost fooler.

With that being said 35psi is where the safe/efficiency range runs out.

After that you will not see a lot of gains with stock chargers. Large modified ones will make a little more before running out.

Can you tell a difference by just swapping to a billit wheel on stock 2015 trucks

I have no idea, never done it. The only actual 2015 with a modded charger that I've ever heard of is mine. And I have a 64mm StreetMax turbo that we build.

The rest have all been going on 11-14 trucks.

I've yet to see where the boost tops out at on my 12 with the cast 15 kit but I did hit 36psi at about half throttle on the maiden voyage. That is with the SPE Hot X tuning for those of you that haven't followed these kits. I'm also waiting on my No Limit CAI so that's why I haven't rushed out and beat on this thing. I can tell you compared to the 11-14 turbos, this 15 turbo still pulls hard even at 36psi compared to the 11-14 straining and falling down around 30psi. I love the way this truck runs!!! It'll be even better without the stock intake on there.

I'll have dyno testing back next week With the streetmax on my '15. Everything Morgan has seen with his has me pumped to get mine on and running
