If you switch to hybrids you are going to increase hpop oil which in turns means you’ll be able to run a bigger nozzle. If your current injectors won’t build and hold icp you either need to go with a bigger hpop system or change nozzles or switch to a more efficient injector or have them tuned to a lower pulse width. These are your options.
Many people have said they went with hybrids because they don’t have to upgrade there hpop system. Just saying.
Years and years ago people were running dual hpops on stock injectors and picked up power and drive ability. Definitely not how would do it but I bet they ran good.
I’ve only had experience with hybrids in 80% or 200% not 30’s. My 333k mile stock 7.3, no studs, no springs, stock turbo with a ported housing (only there to cure surge) 250/80 runs and drives like a stock truck in the tow setting. No smoke and won’t break 1050-1100 flat to the floor with any load. My wife can get in it and I don’t have to worry about it ending up in a ditch. Now the #6 setting smokes like a bitch but it’s going too. The economy setting doesn’t smoke but a little puff if I mash it from a dead stop and it’ll haze in 3-4 in the high rpm’s cause I’m running out of turbo.
Either way you will not be disappointed in a 205/30 or 238/80, just pick one and be happy. With your setup I would lean towards the bigger of the two but that’s my opinion. Best of luck
If I can find a load dyno I will see what I make in the tow and economy setting as that’s where my truck lives 99.99999999% of the time and I’ll report back.
