You're right about the 1/2 ton Supercrew's. But the SD's are regular cab, SUPER cab, and crew cab.

GM's are extended cabs. Dodges are quad cabs.:clapping:

Yes, replacing the whole thing. Also replacing above the windshield on the passenger side

No, the engine lost oil pressure due to bad oil pump, front cover, and bearings

Yeah, nothin recent has happened in a while. Got some other things going on and tryin to get a cummins sourced and built for it as well as source an eaton rt6610 trans

got the bed and doors back on. Still needs body work but ill wait till its running so i can take it over to my grandparents shop to use the good welder. The box will have to come off to replace the floor supports. Getting there slowly. The head for the new motor is almost ready for port and polish. Need a few specialty tools first. Hopefully be able to pick up the new donor motor soon.

well the new motor is down to shortblock. had to pull the driver side head to have 3 glow plugs drilled out. gonna get 14 mil head studs and cometic head gaskets. was gonna try to get it set in this weekend but have some other things going on. besides still waiting on my transmission. should be doing wiring here soon so as to get it all to work together. will post pictures when the new motor is resting in place!

well, got bored and impatient tonight. That combined with some nice weather, i drug it in the garage and set the motor in. Now time to build some motor mounts and figure out wiring!
