Well, put the 36s on and centered the axle since a friend was a no show and i couldnt move the axle to the shop to move the perches. New pics show trac width matches the front. The cummins is on its way. Would be here but had some effing debit card fraud over the weekend so im now broke for the time being so ill have to pay off the cummins weekly and then get the rsk. Dammit!

Also for about 10 minutes today i thought about an 80s dash and door panels with some sort of an aftermarket cluster. Always kinda liked the 80s dashes

Talk about factory overkill on the welding on them bad boys! Most of its all coated in primer. Will finish priming and post a picture tomorrow after the other perch is done! Gettin excited to have it under the truck! Jus need to work on my stick welding skills haha

Axle is all painted up! Now i need to get u-bolts and centering pins made! Next weekend the 12v cummins comes, then goes out for a fresh bore and some coated 24v marine pistons!! Lookin at some NICE go fast parts. Colt stage 3, hamilton extreme duty pushrods and 110lb springs, contagious sticks and pump, scheids ss lines, titanium retainers and locks, cryoed stock bridges, girdle, a1 studs top and bottom, a1 rod bolts, blah blah blah. Thinkin a holset hx40 over an ht or hx60 on my own custom header

Pretty sure that the 24 valves have different bowls in the pistons and they dont play nicely with the 12v injectors if you are keeping a stock 12v head and injectors.

i have a feeling it would be stout. im gunning for around 700hp but some have said i may be able to come close to 1k. well see once it hits the dyno. ill be happy if it comes in close to 700. i think anything more might be too much for towing

Well, the axle is all done and under the truck. Decided i want to take 1.5 inches out of the rear lift and going to order 6 inch blocks. The axle is currently ratchet strapped under the truck till u-bolts are made.

Cummins is here and torn down. Goes off to machine next weekend hopefully. Getting bored and having the head ported! The number 2 piston was seized in from melting and number 6 showed signs of starting to melt, but the block, crank, and rods are in pretty good shape yet! Getting excited to start building it.

Heres my projected build list...
Ceramic and teflon coated marine 24v pistons
Colt stage 3 cam
Hamilton extreme duty pushrods and 110# springs
Titanium retainers and locks
H11 headstuds
A1 rod bolts
Arp main studs (havent seen h11s)
Girdle
Ported head
Contagious diesel 7x12s and built pump with comp 131 dv's
custom stainless steel header (or pdi manifold)
Hx40 over ht60
Scheids stainless lines
Ats hot pipe
Ati super damper

I may be forgetting a few things but thats the idea

Just an FYI...

Don't get too concerned with the rear lift and having custom parts made for it until you have the weight of the motor and front end back together. 1.5" may be the ticket right now, but after the front is weighted down again, you may want to lower the rear stance more to get it a better overall look.

I have a motor sitting in it right now, and when i pulled my 7.3 my springs didnt move. I have custom springs up front. So i know exactly where it will sit once i get it all mocked up. I am going to build my own 5 inch rsk. So once i have the front end all tacked and mocked up ill dial in my rear end

Also decided on a prospective end result. Probably more along the lines of a 3 inch rsk. Rear lift is currently at 4.5 (3.5 inch blocks, 1 inch taller perches) I want 37s to look a little more stuffed in there. Has 36s now. Heres a pic of a more prospective end result. Black 20x10 fuel hostages wrapped in 37x12.50 nitto trails, black diamond plate tsc single lid tool box, black diamond plate bedrail caps and black carr steps
