I thought we were talkin about motors and power?

Let me find an old S-10 to drop a 700hp 7.3 into, lol.

Or did you mean you wanted that level of acceleration again? If so, then you'll need a bit more than 550rwhp to make a superduty stand up like that little S-10 did on spray.

10.58 on spray in the 1/4. I just figured 1100 ft/lbs of torque in my little 7.3 would make me happy LOL

I think that they put the smilies in here to let Charles post shorter messages ;) Instead of smacking people around with dissertations, he just puts a: :slap:

I know vanderchevy's turbo was on its way out when I got to drive his truck a couple weeks ago (thanks again!!) - but even his 'stock' tune was pretty smokey with very much throttle (250/200's). He did say he towed HEAVY though and had no EGT issues.

My X will get studs, springs, etc this winter along with new sticks and a bigger charger.

Patrick, I am very interested in DD and tow tunes 'without a drop of smoke' for 250/200's. What turbo(s) do y'all recommend for these injectors?

Oh, it wasn't on its way out. It packed up its **** and got the hell out of dodge like two weeks before that! Half the compressor wheel was gone and you couldn't hardly spin the Damn thing by hand!! LOLLOLLOL That says something for how drivable the 250/200's are when I can still haul ass without stopping a 4 lane from smoke. I'll get the gtx4294 put on Wednesday and you can check it out next time you're up here!

tuned correctly or incorrectly???

I have a tune right now that ive played around with that is hard to tell if you have stock or 200% nozzles, great for every day driving until your into the peddle hard and then it wakes up like a fat kid smelling breakfast

What do you guys, with the 200% nozzles get for fuel millage???? That is if you dont romp on it all the time.

Thats a very good question, i dont think ive ever driven one tank easy enough to really know. But its not any worse than it was stock. I know its better than 12 but its never been up to 16 so somewhere between 12-16 for me haha

Thanks for the response.. I hope I can get as good as stock to if not better, I changed out to 3.55s from 4.10s.. I would get right at 18 to 18.4 doing 67 to 68 mph, With 4.10s.
