are these heads different from the 06-07?

i have a 05' but i see everything usually listed as 03-04 and 05-07

just dont want to buy a set that wont work for me.

I believe the only difference is the dowel pin size, you can get adapters from 20 to 18 or vice versa.... you would need to source the correct gaskets as well to go with the dowel size. there are also less 10mm bolts to hold the rocker boxes down and the head to the block.... but those really do not matter.

but being an 05' i should be good to go or would i need to check up on all that anyways?

You will be fine with these the build date of 20mm started in late jan 2006.
