It's not studded, I run a non studded tune. No puking, no losing coolant, EOT and ECT temps stay within 10degrees if eachother and if I'm not mistaken that's what you want and how you tell if the gaskets are bad.

Ever since they got put in two summers ago haven't had one problem. I run rev-x, diesel kleen, every now and then just to keep everything clean.

Looks like muddy water spray from sometime when the belt got wet and it slung it on the hood. Seems like it could be washed off if it were mud though

Some laquer thinner on a cloth would pull it off, most likely. I don't think any '05-'07 trucks came with hood insulation.

I have a dude who wants to trade this for my truck and he wants some cash on my side. He says it's a twin turbo duramax, some of you may know it... "Maxine". To me I can't justify trading it but would it be a smart move? He says it's a dd and runs 11.6. I don't see myself trading for it, it's not practical but what do you all think?
