2011 6.7 Issues to be concerned about. Is this a good deal??

Hey guys. Ive been in the market for a 17+ truck with around 100k miles but havent found one I really like and to be honest dont really love the idea of dropping 30k. I came across a 2011 that appears to be very clean listed for 19k. Has 103k miles.

What items would you all be concerned about with this model year and 1st generation of the 6.7. I would plan on deleting the egr, and installing a fuel system disaster kit.

I was looking at the 17+ to avoid rust issues on the body in the future and get past the issues the first few years that the 6.7 had.

I’d have the dealer run the vin and check to see if it falls under the tsb for the glow plug codes. Dropping a valve and having to put a motor in it would be no fun…

Other than rust.... my biggest concern would be the HPFP. If you're doing the full diet... yeah, that's about it.

Like 6.0 tech said. I don't remember all the details but there were some issues with the early 6.7 engines. Not everyone had problems, but they did occur more frequently in that year.
