The 7.3 being voted in is what it is. I just don't get why all the Ford guys out there would pick the fat kid first for the team. You would think they want to be competitive.

Unless there were enough dodge and chevy guys that wanted to sabotage the vote....

Not even gonna lie I voted for every cummins and chevy that had 90+mm chargers just to watch the smoke show.

I'm not here to be nice, here to win. Sorry if that offends anyone. But it is supposed to be the "best of the best" not a subpar vote in that has no real chance of winning. I hope he does great. But there are a lot of things that will prove that wrong.

I want to see Jarans excursion in it along with Jds truck next year. A 6.0 in the top three would be awesome.

I think there's a difference between wishing someone else got voted in, and wishing bad things on this guy just because he took a spot that another 6.4 could have had.

I hope the 7.3 guy does well and enjoys the competition. I love manual transmissions and one of the main reasons I will never sell my truck is because it is a stick. That being said (and I hope he proves me wrong), IMO a manual doesn't stand a chance in this competition. Other than the dyno and sled pull (and if you want to count the mileage as an event), a powerful manual would be lucky to place in the middle of the pack in the rest of the events. Until a manual option that shifts like a Lambo but can handle the torque and weight of these trucks becomes available, I don't see a possibility of it being very competitive. As a gear jamming junky, I wish that weren't the case, but that is the reality of it.

What's with beech not letting anyone other then his crew see what is under his hood? Saw I picture of him working on it with the hood open enough just to fit his forearms in.
