Ordered my deletes today
Someone please post vids of there truck deleted and if someone gets there truck on a Dyno post the #s, thanks
Want the mbrp split dual xp series dpf/delete-straight pipe back exhaust with the no limits cai&a good tune with the mishimoto cold side pipe but just like to see/hear this set up 1st as this is the 1st diesel i've modded&would really like it to not be embarrased by my buds dodge with similiar mods ,his is also a 6.7,any recommendations from folks who know these new 15's would be appreciated.I know his turbo sounded sweet as i spanked him with my 13 5.0 gt but now he's claiming he could take my pos powerstroke,as you could imagine i cant have this happen were both 4x4s but mines a rclb while his is a scsb.
The 2015 sound EXACTLY like a 11-14. The only thing they don't have is the whoosh that the 11-14 wastegated turbo makes. I had a deleted 15 in like July or something. Sounds like a 6.7 with an exhaust. Same as the 11-14 truck with 15 turbos on them. There are plenty of videos on you tube already. No need to clutter this thread with requests for straight pipe videos....
It's still 50-100 hp shy of a hot tuned 6.7 powerstroke.
Not being disrespectful, but it's going to look just like a 14 deleted. Only difference would be an extra 40-50hp.
Dyno numbers I've seen on a deleted '15 were 540 with stock turbo. 11-14 can be around 490-500. Both dyno jet numbers.
Is the reason the 15s deleted make 40-50 hp more than the 11-14s with a 15 turbo deleted simply due to tuning? Or is it because the fuel system is that much more imporved than the 11-14s? Is it possible to make up that power with some better tuning on the 11-14s with a 15 turbo?
It's all relative to the dyno your on.
All I was saying is that we don't need a bunch of tailpipe videos posted here. It sounds the same as the old ones. If someone wants to get their jollies off on a cell phone video of someone revving a truck up, that's why there is you tube and Facebook.
Basically they sound the same, nothing to get worked up over. That is all.
Ummmmm...I think you may have quoted the wrong person on this one haha. I didnt mention the tail pipe videos or sound of the trucks. Had questions related to the 11-14s with a 15 turbo power wise.
