Help me understand, I can buy A/C clutches all day long for under $40 (example: https://www.autozone.com/cooling-he.../a-c-clutch-and-components?filters=4294748565) but NOT for a 2011 explorer? The only way to get it is to buy the entire compressor? So a $40 part on most cars is going to cost me $400 plus freon evac and service because I have to buy a compressor that I don't need???

Please look at this Ford dealer site (https://parts.lakelandford.com/p/Fo...C-Compressor-Clutch/54210970/EB5Z19D786A.html), it states I should be able to replace the clutch only. Although, Amazon has a compressor and clutch for $230, this isn't much cheaper. Please see if I can get something cheaper than $400...

The clutch Lakeland has listed shows to fit 2013-19 Explorer in my catalog.... However the compressor assembly shows to be the same 2011-15, so in theory it should be the same clutch....

your cost on it from us would be $179.04 + shipping

I'll give it a shot for sure. Amazon has that P/N for $140, free shipping, Rock auto has it for $156 plus shipping and both are Motorcraft brand. If you can match their price I would rather get it from you.

Part numbers I have is 9L2Z 14N089 and 5C3Z 14N089.
Like a big and little relay. Idk if my part numbers are updated or accurate.
