I need to know what the maximum offset is for a 20" wheel that will fit on a 2wd coil spring front end. basically I'm looking for as much lip as I can get and wouldn't mind them sticking out a little bit. tires will probably be a 305 50 (420). this whole 2 wd, stock suspension thing is new to me but I'm not scared to bust a sawzall....

well stock height I mean. no block in rear and probably cut 5.4 coils in front

Its a bitch to get the alignment right with cut coils. Dream beams are the way to go. Don't cheap out. 5.4 coils are for the 4x4 guys who can't go down any further. I didn't have a block in the rear on my 2wd.

Dude please let me handle your suspension setup. That thing will be worthless on the street without a good setup man. You'll hate it completely

I had a zero offset 285's and rubbed the radius arms. If you want a 305 you might have to do a staggered set.

steve, i'll have a full build thread for suspension, interior, motor mods.

wheels will be ordered this week if the deal works out so i need to figure out what I can fit on there. i'm liking the staggered idea....deep dish in the back, less offset up front.

It would be cool to do a 20x10 in the front with a -20 offset then get a 20x12 for the rear but would need a wheel that you can pick the offset to match the front....

I am looking at picking up a 6.0 so if this new truck has any parts you remove to put your setup on let me know. I am not looking for anything major, just like an intake or an extra sct or something like that. Small stuff like that.

And I think this thread needs some pics of the new truck.

i haven't bought the truck yet. still waiting on the rest of the $ from the waffle buyer then I'll be picking it up tuesday in houston assuming everything is worked out. once it's in my driveway, i'll put pics up.

now.....WHEELS mofo's

I'm thinking a 305 50 r20 nitto 420's. i assume i can put a 20x10 and 20x12 in the same tire? or should i do a smaller size tire up front too if i did the staggered setup...

Yes you can.

Not sure on what you want to spend but American force wheels has 20x10 and 20x11 ...that may look alittle better.

not 4k mink haha...i think i've already decided on a wheel...just need to get sized right.

Which wheel?

I think you cant go wrong with 20x9 / 20x10 or on the extreme side 20x10 / 20x12 - cant wait to see what you come up with!
