305/50/20 420's on a 20x9 - My brothers truck... or maybe my new truck..

I think a 305 on anything wider than a 9 is going to look stretched, and weird.. for a truck at least.

I think you need a set of 22x9.5 fuel throttles I know where you Gould get a set for a good price.

I really don't remember, but the tires were about dead flush with the fenders. I didn't want them sticking out, when I first had them on the truck, I had 305/50's on the front and back, they fit just fine without rubbing. But when I had to replace the back two tires (for some reason they wore out quicker than the front :toast:) I bought the smaller 285/50 and put them on the front.

My 2wd is a 2001 and I have 20x10 with 4.5 backspace, 305/55/20 tires with stock front springs. It doesnt rub with the 05 front bumper, just barely touched the plastic fender liner before I pulled it back with a zip tie.
