I just bought a Pro Comp 6.5" lift. I am gonna get bigger tires but I want to keep my stock wheels for now. It will save me on some cash and when I decide to get new wheels I can use my stock wheels and tires for a winter set. Now the question is should I go 35s or 37s on the stock wheels? They are only 16x7s. The tire would most likely be 12.50" wide. Anyone have any suggestions and would it rub any with the stock wheel offset and bigger tires? Also anyone have any pictures of stock wheels with 35s or 37s?

I had 35s on stock 16s with the same lift, they looked small. No issues rubbing though. I would go with a 37 ill try to get a pic up

Idk about rubbing, but I'd go with 37s. Personally, if at all possible, I'd get the wheels too, so I wouldn't have to wait for the tires to wear before replacing them, or replace lightly worn tires. If I were to go temp, I'd try to go as cheap as possible before I'd replace them.

Here's 35's on 16's and about a 6 or so inch lift ImageUploadedByTapatalk1370659953.122176.jpg

I have 315s on 16x10 wheels with 4inches of lift and I get a lot of rubbing on the inner fender well. My truck with 4in of lift have nowhere near the clearance shown in the pics. Looks like more than 6in lifts imo but could be an illusion too
I have 10 to 10-1/2"s of clearance over the front tire
Here is my truck with 4in and 315s. Wheel is slightly turned to the right
