its all about the rpm-- you'll eventually want the gear.
Yes and no. From an unloaded mileage standpoint yes. I had 4.10's in my 6.4 but running a full 35" tire it's not bad. These newer motors take rpm's just fine and if it's better when towing that's all I care about. I'm trying to find a rear dually axle from a '06 to swap in so all I need to swap is the front gears. But in my case unloaded I could use 4.30's haha 75 should be my max speed limit. My H&s has my limiter set at 85 right now lol stock is 96

Here's what I pull. The 38' gooseneck is fairly heavy. 8000lbs, plus 8000lbs of cars, plus 1000lbs race gas.
