It's going to be a mix. If I feel like taking it out on daily trips I will, or it may just stay hidden until play time. We built it to be daily drivable if needed.

The truck is running and we have been working out a few loose ends here and there but we can already tell just from idle that the truck will make crazy power...

When I play the youtube video I get a bit of a whistle/lope out of the processor on my laptop. I am going to have to upgrade to a Pentium for the burnout video!

Good looking build fella's

I'm a huge fan of easy break ins... So you guys are gonna have to sit tight until I feel the motor is ready to unleash hell

But... But.... But....

Start it, let the coolant temp get up a bit, then full load full throttle on a dyno is how a Diesel engine should be broke in...

If they idle too much (slobbering away), don't get hot, or combustion pressures aren't high enough after a fresh rebuild the cylinders will glaze up and you'll have oil consumption/ blow by issues... Those rings need to seat against the cylinder wall and the only way to properly do that is with heat and combustion pressure...

At work after an inframe over haul trucks are immediately dynoed for 2+ hours for the break-in procedure...

I'm not very good at explaining stuff but all I know is this is a diesel...

2 stroke dirt bikes are a little different story.

No body rides 2 strokes anymore.. I appreciate your input. You break in you motor how you wish, and I will do it my way.
