You can get it to fit but it would rub and have dents everywhere to fit around stuff.

ok guys thanks for the help i guess im gonna try to find a used 7 inch tip and downpipe before i shell out the money for new parts

Let me know if you want a 4" dp. I have a brand new aluminized diamond eye dp. I couldn't get it to fit on my truck (the one downfall of the zf6 LOL)

Downpipe change is a waste of time and money in my opinion. I have serious doubts that it will change the sound significantly. If you want "deeper", you need to take out some of the higher pitched sounds...and some of the "crack" that the 6.0L is so famous for...which means you should consider a muffler. AFE makes a very nice 5" straight through muffler, with a perforated core and quality packing material. The truck will still be plenty loud with all that 5". Just my .02

^ I disagree. Trucks with stock downpipes that go to larger exhaust sound totally different than with a 4" dowpipe. Powerband also shifts slightly
