Since this a problem child I would drill a 3/8 hole in bell just behind the cast boss in the bell. Take brake clean spray it up there dry it off really well and stick a bore scope in there and start looking. If you pull it out there is no way of really knowing short of pressure testing converter and replacing all the seals like converter hub, pump oring, and pump bolt seals. If this was the first time trans leaked out the front i wouldnt go about it this way but obviously there is something thats not being caught.

I agree, never thought of that approach.

Though to replace any seal other than the converter shaft seal, the pump has to be removed. If you remove it, the gasket and o ring have to be replaced regardless.

You are a better man than I am, Matt. I would be pissed

Getting pissed wont help my situation so why add on the stress? Lol the only ppl that getting pissed would effect is the guys at twisted and I'm not planning on send it back there so why bother lol.

Only problem I see with drilling a hole is it only leaks after you have drove it. Soooo if you clean everything then drove it. It would just be everywhere again. But idk. It's probaby going to stay in there for a while because I hate pulling transmissions lol

All of this happened before I was here but if there is anything I can do to help let me know. If you want to give the shop a call I can get you on the phone with Rave so we can try and figure this out. Hate your having trouble with it leaking after all that, I feel as if everything would have been covered by the last time you got it back. Definitely weird how it's leaking like that.

I had this very same issue after I had my transmission built, ended up being the TC. It had a crack at the snout that would leak, replaced the front pump seal several times until that was discovered.

Well I guess it could be but I had this issue and it's what made me send it back and it got rebuilt and new tc then it still did it. I guess it still could be the tc tho

Could be a lot of things honestly, my issue just ended up being that. Easily overlooked but once I saw it I felt dumb for not looking at it sooner.

I doubt its a cracked TC. Is the leak consistent regardless of fluid temp? Or does it leak more after its cooled off?

Pressure test the converter just to be sure. You may have to pull the pump and check the outer o ring and gasket. How does the large pump shaft seal look?

Edit: Also, check and make sure the seal retainer spring inside the lip of the large pump shaft seal is still in place. (Similar to a front crank seal, the lip that slides over the crank has a retainer spring)

I'm assuming you eliminated the dipstick, square connector, and tube nuts as possibilities right? Sometimes they will slide down and drip near the bell housing

Large pump shaft seal? Sorry Morgan your talking to someone who know that power goes in the trans, witchcraft happens, you loose ~20% power and diffrent ratios come out the back LOL
