Just need a standard bosch style 5 pin relay and some female spade connectors to do it then just the factory plug to the pump.

On the relay you would take the factory power wire for the pump (on my 6.0 it was blue i believe) and connect it to pin 86. This is your signal wire to switch the relay. This will make the new pump turn on/off just like the factory pump.

You will need to ground pin 85. Connect this to a good ground.

You will then need to supply battery power to pin 30, you should have a fuse or circuit breaker in between the battery and relay.

Then you will have power supply out connected to pin 87, this will be the power to go to the 6.7 pump.

That is how i would wire it atleast, ive had my fuelab pump wired like this for over a year.

This made things a lot more clear. Thanks!

I foresee a 6.7 pump going on my truck at some point. I may have some sort of a freak stock pump, but on stock injectors and running IDP's Extreme Street tune, my fuel pressure doesn't drop below 51PSI at WOT with the idle pressure set to 54PSI. When the 205's go in I'm sure it will be a different story.

I would be interested in this as well, do you have to have the reg return system before you can run the pump or can it be installed as is?

Good question. Not sure if the stock return system can handle the extra flow the 6.7 pump can provide. Are you currently running your 205/100's without a RR?

Can't install it as is. Going from 3/8" to 1/2" on the suction side is causing cavitation. And so you don't overheat and or strain the pump to bad you need to upgrade ALL the lines to 1/2". And that's just half the battle. Unless you have the $675 RR from DD. If no RR stock fuel bowl and return will work but you have to get creative.

No RR as of now, been runnin these for over a year now with no issues that I can see...I'm just trying to find somethin that's gonna be more reliable that what I have now, I REALLY like the OEM setup because you just hardly ever hear of one failing. And plus if they are testing these and saying they are maintaining pressure even at WOT runs I'm game to try and get it to work, plus they are cheaper than buying a new motor tower for this AD2 lol

Okay so I have a pump on it's way. I can buy a kit from jegs that includes 10 gauge wire, 30 amp single pole relay and connectors. What else do I need?

I'm very interested in this. I've been running 205's with a regulated return for a while with no issues. I'd just like to do this before stepping up my turbo. Part of the problem now becomes accessing the top of the fuel tank in my Excursion.
