The obs ccsb's are almost always cleaner than the long beds, around here anyways... a good buddy of mine recently ditched his ccsb 6.0 for a 97 ccsb 4x4. Truck has like 360k on it, original motor, literally almost no blowby, and the damn thing is mint condition. He only paid like $5k for it too. Makes me sick parking my beat up ass cclb next to his. Mine has an ungodly amount of blowby, only 210k on the motor, and body isn't the best. Its a straight truck and all, and for $2200, I couldn't pass it up, but still

When I first started doing upgrades to my truck I did a cheap e fuel setup and the stock bowl lasted 2 weeks. Lesson learned. Off to Strictly I went lol!

I learned today that obs trucks look bada $$ if they are kept up. Saw a green cclb with nice wheels and tires and it had some mods done. Gotta love it.

Yeah minus the mechanical issues this truck I'm workin on is one bad moeff. Sexiest truck I've owned that's for sure

That a stack sticking up behind the cab? That's gotta go man lol. I wish I knew what it was like to be able to have an obs that wasn't covered in rust.

why do the body lines on obs trucks NEVER line up. cab-bed are always a touch off.

VVery nice looking truck. I would say you did good

cause they are almost 20 years old and the body mounts are worn.
bed is hard mounted to the frame so no bushing to sag there

They did that when they were only a couple years old. But I agree with you that time is exaggerating the structural differences between the two.

So I got the damn thing to run finally. Stage 2 injectors with a stock fuel system just wasn't working so I built a fuel system by hand (with oversight from an experienced friend/performance diesel junkie) basically a Fass system without the Fass pump, using a super duty electric pump in the frame rail. Will post pics if requested
