Have read through several threads on 7.3l compounds but didn't find what I wanted to know. Would a S366 and GT4202 be a good match for compounds? I had intended to use a S366/S482 combination but already have the S366/GT4202 in my garage. My goal is mid to low 700hp range and still be able to tow. My motor is built to withstand this power (rods, piston work, heads worked, block filled, etc) as is my transmission (BTS). Has anyone used these turbos in a compound setup? Thanks.

There's a bolt in kit for compounds with everything needed in the classifieds. Save the trouble and just buy that.

4202 is like 75mm inducer. Way to small to run as an atmo, could run it as a single though

Definitely the most cost effective way to go. To the OP, what size injectors are you planning on running?

I think you might make your hp goal, but the 42 is gonna be a little small. Should do 600, though.

I'm going to do a fmw 362/480 with my 250/200's but I'm going for a very responsive tow setup, could care less about power, that being said I did 670hp in my single cab Saturday with a s475 cracked headers and 18psi lower than normal boost so you could hit 700 with just that 4202

10-4... side note, how often do you hear of a 38r needing rebuilt... dont believe i have heard it yet on this forum...

They are not really rebuildable, and there have been a few people who have trashed them in compound setups.
