So I was looking at some SD turbos laying around and was looking at the a.r numbers on the hot side and have some with 1.15 1.00 but only one has a .84 and never have seen a .84 on a stock turbo and haven't seen that you can buy them.

I have one of each.

The 1.0 on the wife's rig is gated and is a Banks' piece (thanks Joe). The 1.0 on my rig is a non-wastegated unit I got from Beans with the high flow adapter (non-EBPV).

You've never seen a .84 on a stock turbo?

What trucks are you looking at? Every single superduty that rolled off the assembly line had a .84 housing on it...
What did the gated 1.00 come on?
I believe it was only an aftermarket option on a SD turbo, around 500/600 $

Id buy a 1.15 if you wanted to sell.....orI have a stock .84 Id trade for it ;-)

Chad

I've got a non-gated, EPBV 1.15 A/R housing that I think came out of a van.
Doing me nothing but sit'n on the shelf, and I probably won't use it.
if you're interested or anyone else, shoot me a PM.
But to keep the thread on track - here's what a non-gated, EPBV 1.15 A/R looks like. :D

Can't agree. "Most" l99-03 sd I ve looked at have 1.0 gated housings, a few .84 housings. It may have depended on the trim ???? package, or gear ratio?

Not correct. NO 7.3 F-250, F-350 superduty came from the factory with anything but a .84 exhaust housing...

Sorry, just facts.

Is it only aftermarket then? I haven't slept and read way too much over the night haha. I've seen pics of stock 1.0 a/r housings.

You have not seen pic's of stock 1.0ar EXHAUST HOUSINGS...

They never came from Ford with a 1.00 exhaust housing. Sorry, just never happened.

You may have seen compressor housings that were 1.00, becasue every 99.5-2003 came with a 1.00 compressor housing, tied to a .84 exhaust housing...
