Someone is testing it out now. We will see, for now, if you can't get them to use the oil of a 210ish cc injector, I wouldn't mess with it. More of a head ache and battle to make power over actually using the truck.

good point. someone may have a set of 290s to swap for my 190s..since I will be doing a build at the start of the year, I thought these may work well

Its always fun to talk about doing for sure. having an 800 hp 6.0 fuel only. but the store bought answers aren't here yet to make it work consistently.

I don't feel like selling my left nut for hybrids unless a better pump and a 225 conventional will outdo them.

What about elite's dual hpop kit.....besides being real spendy has it done anything?

I think that if any of this mess worked we would know it. Although a trusted source has said that 225s won't drain icp.

Just wait for the Warren Hybrids. Wont be long.

terminator and dieselsite make an upgraded hpop. rescuef250 is running dieselsites'. We will be running terminator's upgraded T-1000 pump on 300 Hybrids come spring.

Shawn found that his 225's on his twin turbo'd duall was losing ICP. That is why he went to a smaller injector and i think because there was no need for that much fuel. If it were me...i'd stick with the stock HPOP and go with hybrids. That's the whole point of hybrids...to work with stock oil without having to upgrade the HPOP. RCD's hybrids have been doing awesome from the sounds of it. Both ID and MPD have used them and have good results with them.

my 285s drop ICP to 3100psi. But that being said Eric ran 10.6@127 with 285s. switched to 285 hybrids and picked up 10.4 or 5@130 from what I understood. With spray you can get them there but their fuel only hp sucks because of lower injection pressure thus lower atomization.

RCD hybrids are nice, they arnt that much more than normal injectors. Here is STOKER's truck he has RCD 285 hybrids. It will also be nice when there are other options out there for hybrids.

Thatll be a nice setup. I might get the t-1000 after you post about it.

Why did he go smaller, I thought he could pull fuel out of the tune instead? Chris at truck source told me the rcd hybrids have a much tighter tolerance so we wouldn't have to worry about dilution. Rcd isnt on the top of my list of trusted vendors, so I'll wait to read more on the results. Glad there's more options coming out though.

Because you lose more power by pulling fuel in a tune than you do by putting the right product in the truck
