Get it done right, instead of trying every 5 minutes.

It's going to take plenty of time soldering and shrinking all these connections.
Not even going to bother until it's completely buttoned up.

Took apart my connector to see if the injector was shorting to the glow plug.
No signs of internal shorting.
So let's hope the new IDM fixes it.

Should be finished soldering my wires together shortly.

My younger brother had similar problems.

Im not sure in which order this happened, but an injector solenoid shorted out, which in turn shorted out the UVCH connector, and it in turn shorted out the IDM.

It looked alot like your connector, and we didn't think it was actually shorting out, but we guessed that the vibration of the motor was just enough for them to short out and mess the IDM up.

Good luck to you. I know your pain.

All done.

No mother ***n difference!
I'm so lost with this problem.
Anyone knowledgeable in SE Michigan around that could take a look at it?
Turn starter, builds icp, has fp, fires for only a moment, stumbles, dies.
No codes, good buzz test, still have ROM error when KOEO test but no IDM failure codes anymore.
Even tried removing the inj connector where the burnt pins were to start it on 6 cyl just to see if I still had a short in the UVCH or solenoid.

I wonder if there is a relay wreaking havoc. Do you have a way to load test relays.

No I do not.
I should just see who could take this pile to Mikes Diesel.

IPR DC% should be increasing in order to increase ICP to the value commanded in your tuning.

I'm assuming it fires off during the period where you actually have some ICP?

If I'm late to the party, I apologize, didn't take time to review the entire thread.

Why is icp so high, I don't recall ours ever spiking that high to start. Did you ever just try unplugging the icp and seeing what it did? And data log that
