Any others have factory wheels crack?

I've posted on several web sites, and Facebook pages...... Very common issue. Most reports are that they crack just like mine side. Rough guess is 10-20% said that they cracked inside lip.

These rims are made by Ford, not Alcoa now. Highly doubt that they are forged how they crack.

Alot of cracking issues stem from improper torquing.

Rarely does anybody use a calibrated torque wrench anymore. IMPACT AWAY!

(Not saying this is everyone's issue.)

I've watched tire guys hammer up one lug nut and get a bow in the wheel. Factory aluminum wheel. Very scary to watch. Then when they tighten the bolt directly across from it the first bolt now has more tension on it that the original tighten. Horrible. That's generally most guys problem with wheels cracking.

Well we are talking about structural defects. They are all cracking the same due to no support. Why Ford now adds tho more spokes.
