Send them to these guys mirrorfinishpolishing.com. I have heard its a lot of work to get a good finish, but I've always wanted to try.

these guys quoted me 382.50 for both housings to a mirror finish w/ their oxidation minimizing coating. Seem like a fair price? Thinking about pulling the trigger. The more I think about doing it myself the more I think I won't be happy with the outcome.

Mine isnt a mirror finish, and unfortunately its not looking as good because my dumbass forgot to clear coat it but I polished the cover on my 66, Jason polished my valve cover and cleared it and it still shines real nice.

My turbo was so dirty I started with a fine wizzer wheel on an air tool then went to 320 grit, then 800 grit then 2000 and then buffed it with polishing compound on a bench grinder, this was the outcome:

Like I said not the best by any means but it got me by on the cheap

I just started with 320. Ill post some pics after i get it all shiny.

Seems to be cleaning up nice.

Not to hate on the polishing company but that's a lot of money.

Here is my housing IM working on. It was polished. Then an elbow was welded on. Whoever polished this missed alot of spots so IM cleaning up.

IIRC it was right at $365 for sanding, triple polish, and then a oxidation prevention treatment they do to help keep them looking shiny.

Took about 4-5 weeks to do. You can rush but it's expensive
