Holy s**t! It better blow you for that price for a 1/2 ton!

That was kinda might thought too. Aparently the local dealer only ordered Platinum trucks right off the bat, i dont know if that was to get better margins on the first couple that sell. So as far as a mere mortal truck i dont know what the difference is going to aluminum.

Here is the latest spy report on the 2017 Super Duty...

http://www.ford-trucks.com/articles/2016-ford-super-duty-manual-transmission-not/

From looking at the pics it looks like definitely new interior, tail lights, and mirrors...and possibly a new tailgate by looking at the body lines back there, that definitely not padding...

Im curious on the mirrors how much better they are 08 mirrors were great compared to 99-07 mirrors and they were the poop **** when they came out.

That one article states a manual transmission option I highly doubt but would love it

I doubt it too, ford had said something like less than 10% of trucks they sold had manuals but maybe they realize they are loosing some buisness to dodge on the manual thing and want to try and scoop that back up. Personally i think thats a bad move, the best part about the 6.7 is the 6R

From the pictures you find when googling it looks like the larger cab will have the longbox aswell. Just take your time looking at the picture from above with a goosneck being pulled.

I don't understand how they show the ATLAS concept, which looked pretty damn cool, and then come out with this. Such a disappointment...

ftast 350, look at the link that dieseldawg posted at the end of page 3...hate to say it, but looks like that grill could be underneath that. The spy shots from before had the exact same grill that is found on our trucks today, just black. They were probably just using it for testing purposes earlier rather than use the exact front grill they were going to use in production. Hell, i think even in some of those earlier spy photos, they were using the same headlights as todays. They may have just been testing the aluminum bodies like they did on the F150s. Either way, if this is the new generation that will be coming out, I will more than likely be buying a 2016 instead unfortunately.
