I spent about forty five minutes on their site looking at parts and their builds. They look pretty good.

I wonder if it'd be worth 'givin it a try' with a 4r100. I kinda wanna build one myself, just so I know whats in them and how they work. Is this a generally bad idea? I can get a used one for 250 bucks at a local junkyard. Taken out of a driveable truck that got tboned.

Im going to start practicing myself. Ive been told keep things extremely clean and stack it all up just like it comes out. There is a video on youtube about their convertors.

I've used stuff from them before. The service was crappy, but I didn't have any problems with the parts.

these transmissons are the easiest of the big three to rebuild, i did mine myself with the help of a transmission builder buddy of mine, it was easy but there are special tools and tricks to know.
