The 3rd one would be either a true manufacturer issue or an installer error but at any rate it never made it to your truck so the shop should handle it.
The other 2...you ran over something, period. My cash offer stands.

Neither. This crap is pointless. All yall wanna do is call me out and say I can't drive. All I want to do is inform someone that these arnt the perfect tire I was lead to think. If I hit something I wouldn't have a problem saying so And I even admitted that in the first thread that I curbed one of my rims and nothing happened.

it's cool man. it's not out of the realm of possibility that you got a bad batch or that quality is suffering and this is just the start of a wave of problems.

just saying what it looks like

I've got a set of 305's on 10's with zero issues. I absolutely love them, actually

I hope this is isolated and not a trend

Yea, 6k miles on mine and they are perfect. 1st thing, they aren't rated for these trucks, run them at your own risk. Tirerack or whoever I ordered mine from wouldn't even sell them to me when I put that I was putting them on an f250. 2nd, I'm pretty sure 12 inch wide wheels are past what they are recommended to be mounted on, again ruin them at your own risk. It sucks that you've had bad luck, and maybe they had a bad batch, who knows. But there are many many more running these without issues then with issues. I hope you get things straightened out.

The first picture is not from debris. If you've ever seen the inside of a 420 it's pretty obvious those splits are following the cords.

Sorry man but you're wrong on that. You can see the scuff marks along each cut where whatever it was scratched the tire and on the small cuts on the right you can see where the rubber was almost ripped out at the end of the cuts. That's debris/impact damage.
I'll put a grand on that one too....I guarantee you that's not a random tire failure.

So it's just a coincidence the "cuts" follow the cords to a T?

Explain the scuffs around the cuts... If I remember right the first pic happened when potholes were getting bad up here during winter.
Even then. If the tire is going to do that from a pothole it doesn't hurt for people to be aware of that.

Those lines are not where the "cords" go. They're molding lines from the injection molding process and have no bearing whatsoever on structural integrity. They're no more important than the vent spews on the outside of the tire. If you look at the construction of a tire you'll see there are no parallel parts in the sidewall. The pieces all overlap each other for strength.
It's a cut, man. That's all there is to it.

ANY tire on the road is susceptible to damage like that. If you hit something in the right spot it's gonna trash the tire. Hell...I didn't see a railroad spike in the road once, it went through the tire AND rim. I guess I should warn people about those tires and wheels now? **** happens...some people just have a need to blame something other than themselves for their actions.

You take everything out of proportion for no damn reason. I'm just saying 9 out of 10 things on the road that hurt a 420 wouldn't of hurt a proper 10 ply.

The tires are weak that's all there is to it. Mine have so many holes in them it's retarded. They aren't meant for these trucks and it shows.
