Borg 64.5 FMW turbo

Does anyone have any input on this turbo? Has anyone ran this turbo and a 66, not at the same time obviously? Just looking for some input on how this turbo performs, when does it start to spool and things of that nature. Also what injectors are you running with it? Thanks ahead of time.

Awesome turbo spooled slightly slower than a fmw 62 but faster than a 66. I think it made close to the power a 66 did but I didn't run them back to back only the fmw 62. Ran it with 205/75 injectors. Let me know if I can get you a complete package with that turbo!

mine runs VERY well. makes about 625-630 on a 6.7 and fully lit at 2000 RPM .

With all the turbos I've tried....this one is something I'd like to try next. I ran a few vgt turbos(currently a KC 68mm vgt) and a couple non vgt's(62mm and 64mm). After hearing great feedback about the BW FMW turbos....this is one I'd really like to try out. I was pretty happy with the 64/71/70 non vgt....and I'm sure the 64 fmw will be better than that. How well will the 64 fmw work 190/75's? Also what size turbine wheel would this turbo have with the .83 housing? The 64/71/70 T3 I ran built boost around 1600-1700rpms. Will the 64mm fmw T4 setup spool better than the 64mm T3 setup?

I think the 64.5/70/.91 or .83 is going to be a great option for the 6.0 crowd.

any t3 .70 set up I ran I hated. It destroyed a 62 I was running too. But this was with compounds. never ran it as a single. Went to T4 and totally changed the truck.

Maryland did a 67.7FMW/70/.91 on a 6.0L and said that thing is a rocket, believe Greg said it was the best non-vgt option they'd tried yet. I don't remember which injectors they paired with it though.

The 64.5/70 is definitely going to spool faster than an out of the box 366.

We are installing a 64.5FMW on a 6.0L here at the shop today with our 155cc injectors and Gearhead tunes. Ill let you know how it works!

Awesome....would really love to hear your results with the 155's. I'm sure my Full Force 190/75's would pair very well with this turbo. Thinking this would be a good start to compounds.
