I was wondering why even put rods in it unless it was hydrolocked or made a ton of power for a long time

Mine have 100k on em...why not just start out with new for as cheap as they are..its not much in the whole list of stuff needed to just buy new ones

Just playing the waiting game now...new heads are at the machine shop, block is almost torn down and everything else should be at the machine shop by next week to get balanced, polished etc., bearings are on the way to calico...just kinda hangin out for now waiting for everything to get done

Well it got changed up a little again...getting rid of the stock rods and going Carrillos most likely...it's already apart why not build it right from the bottom up

No same time frame...most likely ordering the rods this week, and Greg, Glenn wanted me to go with good Rods from the start, I just didn't know if I could swing the cash
