what i like is how candid you are with the kit. an 80 as a single isnt usually very driveable on ANY motor. maybe with the right ex wheel and A.R. it will work, its gonna make huge power when it lights. what rpm were you seeing the turbo light with the 75 ?

I have been curious what the 80 will do for a while now so I figured I might as well try it since the turbo was going to be at bullseye anyway. With the 75 it was lighting at 1700-1800 give or take. I am sticking with the 1.10 housing that is on it momentarily as I want to get a track pass with that then switch to the 1.0

The way I see it for the time being...if it has decent street manners, awesome...if not that's all the more reason for me to throw a 62ish in with it and let it go

I.agree with your thinking actually
If you decide to.run a 75 it won't be the best charger for a compound set up in.the HP.range your.looking for.

You might need a pretty loose converter but when i was in the diesel power challenge dustin mintern and Matt handwork (cammomax) struggle a little with spooling s480s as singles, but when they did both were rockets, there was a little nitrous involved but matt ended up going 6.8x and Dustin went low 7s in the 1/8mile

This will be interesting, obviously its all in how you drive it.

At sea level you CAN make that turbo work. But you wont be able to play around in town/on the streets really. With proper compounds you can play around anywhere without pissing off the public..

Once you get it on the dyno or on the track it is going to eat and eat and eat though
