This is the deal though. I know you can buy a set of OUO bars and they do all of this. They don't make noise (since there are no joints in the setup at all, any traction bar setup with joints will make noise or clunk eventually). Last thing you want is to roll your window down and hear the noise from your bars while you are driving around.

They have the front bushing which still enables your rear springs to work the way they are supposed to. People have 100,000 plus miles on them without ever having to do anything to them. If you want to add airbags to them, there is a kit. If you want your springs to be softer, then remove a spring like the guy did above and then you can stick your traction bars on. They work on or off road with no issues. I don't know anyone that will say they don't work the way they are supposed to. They are on the highest horsepower trucks, sledpullers, guys with huge lifts and tons of power. They are adjustable in length so they can go on any cab/chassis configuration.

I know you won't be disappointed with these. You don't need to be doing burnout patches to make sure everything is setup correctly either. Simple and easy to bolt on.

I hate my caltracs. They are being a complete pain in the ass to dial in. Really wish I would've listened to Jared@rcd and bought ouo bars. I'm removing a leaf asap and will try to adjust them more but my truck is horrible with them on.

No hop with caltracs.

I hope you guys realize that hop you experienced may have been from the shocks being overloaded and rebounding to fast for their design. Would be a explanation to why people noticed a difference removing a spring.

Yea swinky, something isn't right there. I have no issues like that and I've launched it pretty good on the street. Something is out to lunch. I'm not a pro at setting up suspension by any means. And I don't want to say taking a rear leaf out is a remedy. The main reason we took my leaf out is because with the caltracs on the preload raises the rear end slightly, and it also softens the ride. The guy that set my truck up builds chassis, and had it set up in no time.

Cool. When I get the truck back I'll do a little more tuning and put some shocks on it. It's sitting at randalls house right now.

Just do ouo's and be done. It's a guaranteed result no questions asked. I've had cal tracs , they were slightly noisy over hard bumps and did stiffen the ride but I would adjust them for the track then back them off for the street a bit. For the price they're great , and some can make them work well , but ouo's work guaranteed. I have a 2wd 6.4 and I'll be putting some ouo on very soon.

That's kinda what I've been leaning more towards recently, going with OUO.

I don't go to the track enough, especially since they just shut the track down here recently. So even if the caltracs do work a little better at the track when properly setup I won't see the benefit. OUOs will be a plug and play type ordeal and that's better for just a DD truck that doesn't go to the track a lot. My thinking anyhow.

My 6.4 is tune only , are you high right now ?

No.

But your right that is stupid and unfair. And no your 6.7 will not beat me lol. You might get to the 330 before me but thats about it.

But then again I could have a 2wd tune only 6.7 to race your tune only 6.4.

Lol your 6.7 doesn't even make more power then my 6.4. Plus it is considerably heavier.

Yes it does. It makes upwards of 1000 and I'll prove it in the next couple weeks. All with 1 little turbo that spools better than your 6.4 LOL
