If I can acquire both a 5200 and 4800, i'll grab both and test both out over the summer to see which feels better, control, ride, etc... I'll post my findings if I go that route.

Sounds good... If everything goes as planned i will have those coils in this weekend I will raise the bqck up an inch vs cutting the coil ill let you know how it goes,

Jeff, @ PSN you mentioned the 4800 VS the 4400.

Why that, I asked @ PSN but maybe share the thought here as well.

I would choose the 4800 lb because the truck would be more level. I was on the bump stops up front and a good bit lower in the front than the rear with the 4400 lb springs. I figure that 4800 lb with no rear block would be about perfectly level and you probably wouldn't need to modify the bump stops.

Sorry to bug you again with this since I've already asked you a million questions about it, but with the 4800# springs and no rear block on my '10 F250 CC/SB FX4 will my driveshaft be OK? Looking at doing this soonest, my truck's under a MAJOR cosmetic overhaul right now...it's gettin' MURDERED!

My 08 CCSB was perfect with this setup.

This is how my truck sat with the 4400 lb springs and no rear block.

Any pics with 4800 springs? And what spring would work the best for a reg. cab truck. I'm gonna take the rear block out as well!!

I want a better ride. but mostly just better track times...

Thanks for the part numbers! Ordered my 4800 pounders today from my dealer. Looking at replacing my tires soon too, wondering how 295/65/20s would look in place of the stockers that are on there now (275/65/20)...?

I'm really contemplating this..... What street tires are cheap and wear good? Or is there any such thing lol

Depends on the rim size, and if you tow, at all, you need E-load rated tires. A lot of these tires people are running here are "XL" or similarly rated and are NOT gonna get the job done when you need to tow. Also see a lot of people running oversized tires on undersized rims. That's definitely not cool either. If you want to know what the manufacturer recommends, just go to their website!

http://www.nittotire.com/Tire/terragrappler#size

With my stock 20x8 rims I CAN run a 295/65/20, the range is 8 - 10 inch, 8.5 inch being ideal...

And on the subject of price, they'll run about $360/each...sorry!

You won't fit that tire lowered. It will measure about 35.5" tall on the wheel.

Yeah...I'm gonna see what those 265s look like first since they're still in pretty good shape. I'm thinking pretty good, but when it comes time to replace them I'd like to go up a size...

My 295/60R20 Nitto Terra Grapplers measure a hair over 33.5 and 11 inches wide on factory 08 Harley wheels.

Will these rub with 4400lb springs or should I go 4800lb? I'm debating on dropping the rear block also, I have air bags to get the rear up when I tow lol.

Interesting. Mine measured exactly 34" on factory 20's and just under 12" wide.

They should fit fine with 4800 lb springs. I wouldn't try it with 4400 lb springs.

That's more like it...too many numbers floating around my pea brain...

Got my 4800# springs on order and it looks like the Nitto Terra Grappler 295/60/20 (Load Range E rated too) is a winner!

You will love that size of the Nittos, I LOVE how they fit my truck. I just need to bring the truck down to them and I thin it'll look tough!
