you wouldnt have to swap oil rails just branch tubes.... buts thats even more of a pain.

yep. That the set up I have on the ranger. 05 rails with 04 branch tubes and pump

Lance are you building the motor? Those 265's sound like they are some rod twisting garden hoses when you have the oil to match them!

Nah not at this point. Im told a stock healthy pump will push 250's just fine. I'm not going to worry about the bottom end since I'm not spraying and rarely racing. if it blows on the way to the grocery store one of these days, Matt has a fully built, lower compression race motor to drop in LOL.

Don't know if you remember far enough back but UB's motor tossed a rod jusy cruising down the highway. It had been beat on but it didn't let go during so.

as far as pricing goes, Andy is no longer doing "staged" builds, only full comp tranny's so I'm not sure what that cost is to be honest. give warren a shout and he can tell you for sure.
