First of all who has done this? Second I would like to know how in the heck I managed to do it. I am very good at tearing things up but I am scratching my head on this one.

I am probably going to take it off and weld it up. What are you opinions on this?

Early 99 F-350 single rear with a 6 speed.

I wouldnt worry about it to much the crack is in both holes now so its not going to keep spreading.
I would weld a plate onto the crossmember and drill the hole out and then bolt it back up.

I'm not terribly worried about it. But still a little I'm going to fix it and I have though about cutting a plate and putting it on there also.

Loose nuts possibly. Fatigue crack over time. I have a stock crossmember you can have if you want. My shop is just off I-10 between Prince and Ruthrauft.
