Cts exhaust back pressure

Can the cts pull the exhaust back pressure from factory sensor or do I need to install an edge one? Trying to get ready for that street max

CAN it? Yes. DOES it? I don't know. I know you can with the Torque app, so it is available to be read by a monitor.

I can tell you the way I do it. Edge EAS 12v Power Supply Kit comes with every thing you need even the correct sensor. Put a Hydraulic Tee Fitting in your EBP tube on your passenger side exhaust up pipe. Basically put Edge Sensor along with the factor sensor. There is a manual that comes with it that tells you how to load the custom sensors to your CTS. At that point you can add sensor all you want from axle temp to secondary cooling system temp if you want. I will post a picture of the tube setup later on.

Thanks. The PID is already in use on the 6.0 trucks, why not the 6.7??

Update for this, it is available now from update sent from edge

Edge Insight CTS users need to call tech support with their unit SN#. Then Edge will set that SN# for the new updates.

Otherwise the updates will only apply to the CTS2 models.

The factory sensor no matter you view it threw a CTS or H&S if threw the OBD it is way out to lunch compared to a gauge or a stand alone sensor on the EAS system

Ok, dumb question of the hour. Now that I can, what does monitoring the exhaust back pressure do for me? Thanks in advance
